“An extremely well written collection of poems”
“ . . . all the poems in this collection were lyrical and the poems work because of a careful choice of words . . .”
“Mr. Finch has a fine collection of poems here, something for everyone. He tells of seasons and people and things, eloquently and without a single wasted word. You can tell he's no amateur to poetry--every word is deliberate and meaningful.”
“It is full of the subjects about which the author is passionate such as nature, birds, literature and a certain hypochondria. One aspect of this author's work is the multidimensionality of not just the subject-matter but the way in which it is expressed.
For example, there are powerfully hewn poems such as “Christ” which has a monumentality as if carved from rock and then there are lighter poems that are illuminated by the author's hallmark sense of humour such as “Feet And Snores” . . .”

“5 Stars - Simply A Masterpiece!!”
“ . . . this remarkable book of poems which is meant to delight both young and old . . .”
“The poems are beautiful yet they are heavy with feelings and experiences that are difficult to process: attempted suicide, grief, guilt, young love gone wrong. The voice is genuine, gripping, and beautiful. I highly recommend this book, and not only to lovers of poetry.”
“ . . . all in all, a satisfying collection of poems.”
“ . . . I admire someone who can write poems that touch the heart which is what Jonathan Finch has done so well in this short book of poems.”
“Love” Poems For Kathy
Green. Laced. Leaves.
A collection of “love” poems with interlinking themes, exploring the poet's changing feelings for the “heroine” of the novel “Darkest Kiss”. “Love” is in inverted commas because the emotions explored, though maybe anchored in love, vary considerably.
